the hottest day on planet earth



A short film about the weather. An experimental essay and meditation on the uncomfortable pleasures of the climate crisis. In an entropic six minutes, it reflects on nature, architecture, and art, asking if recording and aestheticising the current world makes one implicit in its ongoing destabilisation.

An impromptu trip to an ex’s house, with the goal of exchanging personal belongings and ending communication for good, is bound for fiery disappointment. And that's just the way it has to be.
